Luxury Panjabi
Solid weaves and tone-on-tone jacquards — refined panjabis for Jummah, the office and evening plans. Luxury fabric without the fuss.
Luxury is VIOR's woven range: solids and tone-on-tone jacquards, where the pattern is built into the fabric on the loom rather than stitched onto it afterwards.
What a jacquard is
A jacquard is a fabric whose pattern is woven in, not printed or embroidered on. The design comes from the structure of the cloth itself — threads raised and lowered to build a motif — which is why a tone-on-tone jacquard appears and disappears as you move through a room. Hold it flat under a lamp and the pattern is obvious; see it across a table and you read a rich, plain colour.
It is a quieter effect than embroidery and a more durable one: there is no applied thread to catch, pull or wear away, because the pattern is the fabric.
And the solids
The range also holds pieces with no pattern at all — deep blacks and charcoals in a smooth premium weave. These are the hardest-working panjabis VIOR makes: correct for Jummah, correct for a dinner, correct for an office that expects traditional dress on a Thursday.
When to wear it
Choose Luxury when you want to be well dressed rather than looked at. A woven pattern carries formality without announcing it, which makes these pieces easier to repeat — the same panjabi can go to a Jummah prayer, a family dinner and a colleague's mehndi without anyone counting.
