Platinum Panjabi
Our most intricate embroidered panjabis for the days that matter — weddings, Eid evenings, engagements. Fine thread work on premium fabric, tailored to stand out quietly.
Platinum is VIOR's embroidered range: thread work applied to the cloth by hand-guided machine, placed differently on each piece so no two read the same way.
Where the embroidery sits
Placement is what separates one Platinum panjabi from the next. Some carry the work across both shoulder yokes, spreading out from the collar in a leaf-and-vine motif. Others run it down the placket, so the detail follows the line of the buttons. A few keep it to the collar band and cuffs alone, where it reads as texture until you are close enough to see the stitching.
Where two pieces share a fabric, the thread colour is the difference — an ivory thread lies matte against the cloth, while a copper or antique-gold thread catches light and shifts as you move.
When to wear it
Embroidery is the more formal of VIOR's two approaches. These are the pieces for weddings, nikkah days, engagements, akikahs and Eid jamaat — occasions where you are photographed and where the garment is expected to do some of the talking.
Because the ornament is on the cloth rather than in it, keep the rest of the outfit quiet: a plain pyjama or trouser in a neutral tone, and shoes that do not compete.
Caring for embroidered cloth
Thread work outlasts the garment if it is treated gently. Dry clean or hand wash cold, never bleach, and iron on the reverse so the iron never touches the embroidery directly. Full instructions are on each product page and on the label.
